Tras muchos años de ausencia, se retoma ahora porque creemos que una aproximación personal como esta sigue teniendo su espacio. Simplemente compartimos lo que aprendemos, sin más pretensiones que ayudar a quien pase por aquí.

Este sitio se inspira en gente como Paul Lutus, que vio venir la era del rastreo antes de que existiera Google Analytics. Su filosofía de CareWare nos recuerda que no todo necesita monetización. A veces basta con que ayude a alguien.
Observando Internet como lo hago, veo que la brecha entre los seres humanos y los consumidores se está ampliando.
En lugar de insistir en un punto que ya ha sido suficientemente discutido en otros lugares —incluidos artículos en este mismo sitio (por ejemplo: Consumer Angst)—, me limitaré a decir que la gente no debe tratar el software gratuito como si fuera software comercial, ni tratar a los autores de software gratuito como si pudieran ser responsables de las expectativas de los usuarios.

This isn't a professional website or a big project with a team. It's a personal project that started back in the late 90s, when resources in Spanish were practically non-existent. Watching the Internet as I do, I find that the chasm between human beings and consumers is widening.
Rather than belabor a point that has been adequately discussed elsewhere —including articles on this site (one example: Consumer Angst)— I will simply say that people must not treat freeware as though it is commercial software, and must not treat freeware authors as though they can be held responsible for users' expectations.
Boys and girls, this is not how freeware works.
